For the 2023 vintage, grapes were sourced from the Robertson area. This area gives different flavours and components to the wine due to the difference in soil and climate. The vineyards are between 15 and 35 years.
Method:
The wine was fermented and underwent MLF in the barrel. Matured for 12 months as done in previous vintages with regular stirring of the lease in the early months to give the wine more complexity. 20% new French oak is used.
Analysis:

Winemakers notes:
Tones of lime, lemon skin, baked apples, dried apricots, nutty flavors and almonds which show in the acidity of the wine. Rich, creamy pallet with a fresh acidity, integrated wood, complex fruit and a lingering after taste.
