The Autograph Syrah is the alter ego of the Autograph White Blend and is new in the Jean Daneel collection. Grapes are fermented and macerated for 4 months in 500 L French barrels. Thereafter the grapes were pressed by a traditional manual basket press and wood matured in selected French oak barrels of 225L were filled for ageing and maturation for 24 months, of which 20% are new.

Winemakers notes:
The wine has flavours of white pepper and plum fruit, good firm tannin structure and lingering taste, a good integration between fruit and wood with a very long ageing potential up to ten years.
